We are delighted to announce the programme and final decisions for the Deep-Breath Workshop, which will be held on 23 September 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea, as part of the MICCAI 2025 conference.
This year marks a new milestone for Deep-Breath:
- 📝 We received 62 paper submissions from researchers worldwide.
- 🏆 More than 300 participants joined our three associated challenges: ODELIA 2025, MAMA-MIA 2025, and UUSIC 2025.
- 🌍 Participants represented 34 countries across the globe.
Following a rigorous peer-review process, 35 papers have been accepted for oral and/or poster presentation. Authors will be notified of their final assignments shortly.
The workshop will feature a full-day programme, including:
- Keynote talks by world-leading experts: Ritse Mann, Shandong Wu, Jakob Nikolas Kather, and Tao Tan
- Oral and poster presentations of accepted papers
- Challenge sessions, with discussions spanning multi-modal AI applications, with a strong emphasis on breast cancer
- Finalist announcements and awards for the Deep-Breath Challenges
- Networking opportunities for researchers, clinicians, and industry partners
We are grateful to the chairs, organising team, advisory committee, technical and clinical committees, as well as all reviewers for their dedication and thoughtful contributions. Most importantly, we sincerely thank all authors and challenge participants for their trust and engagement.
By bringing together an international community, the Deep-Breath Workshop continues to foster innovation at the intersection of AI and breast imaging, and to advance research with direct clinical relevance.
