The ODELIA consortium gathered in Barcelona on 15–16 September for its annual meeting, hosted by the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO). Members reflected on project milestones, explored future directions in swarm learning for medical AI, and enjoyed networking moments, including a dinner celebrating Spanish cuisine.
Following the meeting, VHIO hosted the ODELIA Summer School 2025 (16–18 September), welcoming over 25 early-career researchers and clinicians from across Europe. The programme featured hands-on workshops, expert lectures, and keynote talks on AI, imaging, clinical trials, and regulation. Participants also had ample opportunities to connect, collaborate, and spark new ideas.
Together, the events showcased ODELIA’s commitment to transforming healthcare through AI and fostering a vibrant, interdisciplinary community.
